Some people are more techie than others. Some have to get things first and try them out and SEE for THEMSELVES if something is cool or not and how it works. They are the pioneers and often times they take the arrows that come with early adoption.
So I was just reading this post, written by Greg Geilman. Greg is a REALTOR friend of mine in Southern California who is one of those guys mentioned above. He was the first REALTOR that I know of that wrote up Google Glass. He has taught me a lot about video and real estate. Oh yeah, and he has some kick butt solutions for Listing Presentations.
That said, I am not sure I agree with him about wearable technology and specifically that a Smart Watch to go with a smart phone is a great idea. Like many folks I live daily with the distractions of the electronic leash around me constantly. And yet one more electronic distraction device seems to me to be cramming 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 lb bag… but that said, I am REALLY interested in what other REALTORS think.
Anybody out there already using a Smart Watch? What are your thoughts? Does it eliminate the “distraction factor”? or does it cause more.
I personally do not own one yet. (Of course I still have an iPhine 4s and will not be giving that up anytime soon.
If you have added a SmartWatch to your tooklit, please comment with what you think!
