The 7th Largest Children’s Museum in the Nation, the Children’s Museum of the Upstate is one of the great things to do this summer in Greenville. It works to broaden the horizon of all children and help them to reach their full potential. Located in the heart of Greenville on 300 College St, the Children’s Museum works to make the world more creative every day.
It’s one of the reasons that Greenville is recognized as such a kid friendly city. The Children’s Museum is a tribute to all the creativity that kids have.
But it’s not just for kids. To celebrate their 5th birthday, the Children’s Museum is holding a “Grown-Ups Only Night.” There will be games, prizes, a DJ and a chance to get back those memories of your own childhood.
Admission is decent, at $9 per child and $10 per adult. If that seems expensive, especially if you have a large family, you should sign up for their Family Basic Membership. At $150, it offers unlimited visits for one year for 2 adults and kids.
So go check them out this summer. It’ll be a blast.
