There are a number of GREAT ways to pick closing gifts for your clients. As you get creative about how to spend something to say “thank you” to your clients, here is one way to prioritize your choices.
Start thinking about your closing gifts with the following in mind.
If I give this closing gift to my client, how will it FURTHER my marketing efforts with their friends? Will it be something that they share with friends? Will it be something that will cause their friends to drool over or more importantly want to do business with me over? Calculating the impact of that as you prioritize that part of your budget can help you grow the business a lot. So your list will likely change from:
- A Bottle of Wine
- A gift card
- A dinner out
And it will become gifts like:
- A catered house warming party for friends and family
- A bounce house rental for their kids birthday party
- A donation to the a cause of their choice (done wisely this increases exposure real well).
